Case-based publicity grows trade show interest

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), the world’s largest trade organization of its kind, has been a client of ABI for more than a decade. As PMMI’s needs have grown and changed, ABI has provided strategic and tactical marketing public relations consultation that supported the association’s growth.

As part of its work for PMMI, ABI also strategically supports positioning and publicity of the association’s PACK EXPO trade expositions and conferences. Part of ABI's ongoing work to promote the show is a testimonial-based public relations campaign, which include the development and placement of "problem-solution-results" case studies that highlight end-user experiences and results from attending the PACK EXPO trade shows. These articles communicate the benefits of attending and exhibiting at the show, and drive both exhibitor and attendee interest.

Through the development of strategic case history articles touting the successes of the show’s exhibitors, ABI has helped PACK EXPO grow to 1.2 million net square feet of exhibitor space, more than 2,300 exhibitors and approximately 50,000 attendees from more than 130 countries.
